(Aug 2004) Watch the progress of VF-Engineering's Project A3 3.2 Imported from Germany Stock 2004 Audi A3 3.2 with the Stage2 Supercharged 2004 R32 3.2 Both cars are packed with the same 3.2 engine from VAG - the ultimate VR6 engine to-date. Next off to the 4wd dyno at GIAC in Irvine, California. Whilst strapping the A3 3.2 Quattro down, we noticed how much more beefy the suspension and 4wd Quattro system were compared the Golf R32. Our stock A3 produced 202 hp at the wheels on 91 octane which calculates to 250 hp at flywheel. 10hp more than the R32. Now its time to start taking the A3 apart for supercharger development !
