VF-Engineering designed this kit from the ground up; being the first in the market to build such a kit using the infamous "bullet proof" Vortech Engineering supercharger unit.

What convinced VF to build this kit? In March '03 Jesse James' Monster Garage requested us to build such a kit on a brand new Eurovan that Yoo-hoo Chocolate Milk Company wanted to use as a promotional vehicle for the 2003 Gumball Rally. We completed the entire kit within our 2 week deadline. With past experience from having already created the Golf 24V supercharger kit, the Eurovan kit was very straightforward for the VF engineers. The engines were identical as far as supercharging them was concerned, apart from the intake manifold and some of the cosmetics. The test vehicle was driven from the East to the West coast (USA) in the space of a few days. The tiptronic transmission performed flawlessly despite being driven like "there was no tomorrow".

During the development of this kit, the Eurovan was extensively dynoed and taken to redline constantly for the ECU software to be created and tested. In order to hit redline the gears were selected manually and the traction control switched off manually.

The key to the design of this supercharger kit is the simplicity in which it can be bolted-on. The kit is supplied with every part needed to get your car up and running supercharged on the same day.

Performance, reliability and stock feel were major factors in the extensive R&D carried out over a perod of 2 years in California. Custom proprietary GIAC software is supplied with this kit to safely re-align all fuelling and engine management parameters. See side note on GIAC.
